Complete Information for AIPMT Exam
The AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Entrance Test or All India Pre Dental Entrance Test), are conducted for undergraduate students. If you are interested to get an admission in MBBS or for dental courses, then it is compulsory to give this particular exam. It is conducted in all over India, in the Government universities, institutes of States and in local bodies who are affiliated to AIPMT exam, excluding the states of Telengana, Jammu& Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh.
After completing the school, a student is in confusion to choose the line of profession, so that he or she can start his higher education to fulfill his goal of life. But to become an engineer student should have subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics in school and to become an MBBS doctor, the student should have subjects like physics, chemistry and biology in school. The Supreme Court has issued directions to CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), Delhi, to conduct AIPMT exams. This entrance test will enable to fulfill 15% of candidates for admission in medical colleges all over India. It is understood that 3500 candidates have to be selected from all over India. There are not only central Government MBBS colleges, there are also state Government, universities and institutes who also take part in the AIPMT exams from selection of suitable candidates for their institutes. CBSE has the responsibility to conduct AIPMT exams and declare merit list on the basis of the exam results.
Steps for Online Form
As happens in all competition, students are required to fill forms to insure themselves for the AIPMT exam. The forms are available online on the official website of CBSE, for AIPMT exam for 2016. The examination is conducted once in a year. You have to complete all the formality to fulfill the form and enrollment is done online and after that you are given a registration number. Then in JPEG format, photographs and signature are uploaded. There is a particular dimension mentioned in the form. After completing all the steps, you have to submit the examination fee as prescribed in the form by debit/credit card/ e-banking/bank Challan.
Every candidate is required to pass the 12th standard in school. The subjects in the examination will be physics, chemistry, English and biology as prescribed in the NCERT. Candidates should have obtained 50% marks in general category and 40% marks has to be obtained from SC, St and OBC candidates.
Relaxation in age limit
The applicant should not be less than 17 years and maximum age should be 25 years for general candidates. And 30 years of age relaxation are given to the SC, ST and OBc candidates. The examinee must have born between 1-1-87 to 1-1-2000. If SC, ST and OBC or general candidate’s birth limit is 1-1-92 to 1-1-2000. Besides above rule the candidates should have the Indian nationality.
As already notified that AIPMT exam date is 1st, May 2016 and the timing are from 10 am to 1pm, which have 180 objective types of questions, and in each such there are four sections like physics, chemistry, botany and zoology have 45 questions to answer. There are 4 marks for each correct answer and for one incorrect answer one mark is deducted. The result of AIPMT will be announced before 5th June, 2016.
